The SASDC forms part of a global network of similar organizations based in USA, Canada, UK, China and Australia. Our global partners interact and collaborate regularly via the Global Supplier Diversity Alliance (GSDA).
All of these partners subscribe to a similar yet locally relevant business model of being corporate member-based and driven, with the certification of under-represented minorities (constituting their beneficiaries) being the pre-cursor for matching and linking to corporate member procurement opportunities.
The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), established in 1972, is the global leader in advancing business opportunities for its certified Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American business enterprises and connecting them to member corporations. This is done by matching more than 12,000 minority business enterprises with its vast network of more than 1,750 American corporations, state-owned companies, and universities. We have a proud association with the US-based National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), one of the leading supplier diversity advocacy organizations in the world. The NMSDC has been instrumental as a technical partner in the process leading up to and following the establishment of the SASDC.
